Dr.
Edward Funk provides technical consulting to chemical companies on the
engineering of processes and products and serves as a chemical expert witness
for attorneys on chemical processes and products and issues related to
industrial and consumer chemistry.
Litigation support services include literature reviews and analysis, preparation of technical materials, laboratory testing, assessment of the technical strengths / weakenesses of new technology, expert reports, and deposition and courtroom testimony.
Dr. Funk received a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of 6 U.S. patents and over 60 technical publications. He has held technical and management positions at Exxon's Corporate Research Center and Honeywell's Corporate Technology Center.
Dr. Funk, President of EWF Consulting, Inc. is also a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
